Job Description

Work Experience: 5 to 7 years
Education: BS-EE or BS-ME (Masters preferred)
Required Tool Skills: MATLAB/Simulink, mscript

Job Description:
In this role, you will be developing physics based plant models for conventional, hybrid and electric powertrain. These plant models may be used in MIL, SIL & HIL testing. You are expected to understand the fidelity, feature & end use requirements and translate them into MATLAB-Simulink model/logic/algorithm using MBD techniques. You must come up with use cases to identify missing requirements and strengthen the plant model. Thus, you are expected to provide robust solutions to meet the requirements. You must also mentor your team members and help them deliver quality product on time, every time. You will liaise with project manager, subject matter expert, onsite engineers and customer to deliver the product.

Required Domain Skills:

• Physics based plant modeling
• Classical and discrete control systems
• Continuous & discrete signal processing
• Filter design (FIR, IIR, etc.)
• Kalman filter (and its various flavors)

Required Soft Skills:

• Excellent written & verbal communication in German & English
• Excellent presentation skills

Required Personality:

• Quick learner
• Easy to work with
• Willing to stretch when required
• A leader that will motivate the team when it gets tough
