Business Analyst (Prism)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Support the implementation of solutions for PRISM, a bespoke web based financial modelling and forecasting application. This includes engagement with key business stakeholders and leading analysis and implementation across all major features, enhancements and defects
• Support change management activities including planning and executing on communication and training plans
• Work with internal and external technical team including Solution Architect and Technical Leads to articulate and document potential and cost effective solutions that meet business requirements
• Work closely with internal and external testing team to ensure the understanding of the requirements and collaborate with testing activities where necessary
• Support solution acceptance activities including support quality assurance activities, delivery of necessary test scripts and assurances of the testing environment, facilitating meetings and trainings with key stakeholder groups for releases and initiatives.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with IT business analysis, systems design, basic development and software project lifecycle within a financial domain
• Experience with commercial, accounting and financial modelling and forecasting activities including revenue, cost and profitability management
• Experience with data analytics specifically with reporting financial and commercial details is a plus
• Experience interfacing with business, preferably in either or both finance and business development domain, and technical stakeholders of varying levels from administrators to director level with the ability to challenge and negotiate where required
• Strong communication skills with an ability to express technical information in a business friendly and relatable language
• Ability to build trust with a strong internal network with the business and IT Functional teams
• Ability to intelligently challenge business requirements and needs whilst being customer and business focused
• Aptitude to work in a complex geographically diverse organizational structure with an exemplary delivery track record
• Experience within a Retail industry is a plus
• Experience with web-based application is a plus.
